Travel to Chiang Mai by Rail special offers from the State Railway of Thailand
Mr. Jirakorn Kosaisaywee, Deputy Director General of Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the organizer of the expo, revealed that “From November 1, 2006, the number of visitors, both domestic and overseas, has been continually increasing. And it is very likely that the number will continuously increase. The current average number during the weekdays is over 30,000 per day while the average number during the weekends is over 40,000 per day. And the advanced ticket selling has soared and surpassed two million already.”
Ratchaphruek Express
The Ratchaphruek Express is a special Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Bangkok rail service that serves the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 international horticultural exposition exclusively. Meals and refreshments are available on board during the trip. Tickets are available from the State Railway Of Thailand Ticketing Offices nationwide.
Regular carriage: 900 baht for ticket only
Sleeper carriage: 1,300 baht for ticket only
3-day/2-night Super Package Includes accommodation and a ticket for admission to the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 international horticultural exposition
Regular carriage: 2,800 baht for ticket only
